However, I was hoping for a lot more specific details on what specific symptoms it is good for. The answer the book gives is an all encompassing, enthusiastic "Everything! The book is over half recipes. I can sum up this book in a few words. Chaga grows in northern climates on birch trees. Cut it off the tree and add it to water to make tea don't ask what the ratio of Chaga to water is. Drink it everyday and you will live longer. Seriously, you can get all this information for free, quickly off one or two youtube videos.

Makes you wonder why Very, very interesting book. Makes you wonder why doctors don't steer their patients to read this book. Oh must be their isn't the money to be made. Very informative and the Chaga is really good too. Learned alot and also about the Reishi..

Thanks David. Lots of good info on this medicinal mushroom. I will be taking Chaga for life based on the book's info and my personal measurements muscle testing. Just got bake from MN vacation where we found 3 trees with Chaga about 12 pounds. This tea tastes great, both hot and cold. I haven't had the chance to read this yet I have no doubt. After reading this book, went out our back yard and started looking for Chaga. Found all that we need for a long time. We are drinking the tea every day.

There is a lot about its history. Would have been nice to have more about birch trees rather than the recipes I probably will not use. This is an excellent, well written book with beautiful photos.

I had no idea about the medicinal benefits of this mushroom until a holistic vet recommended it for my sick dog. I bought this book to read more about it and it's uses. This book made me realize that I also needed to incorporated it into my daily diet because of it's long list of amazing nutritional and medicinal benefits.
