This story is from January 19, The 7. Experts believe that further widening of roads after demolishing the corridors for cars or two-wheelers will not bring a drastic change in the present situation. When number of cars exceeds the road capacity volume to capacity more than 1 , a high-capacity transport system is required including BRTS, Metro etc. The government is providing subsidy of approximately Rs per passenger. Sources said, accidents near the corridors occurred due to lack of enforcement, not because of faulty planning or lesser width of the road.

HC notice to Rajasthan govt over removal of Jaipur BRTS corridor
BRTS corridors’ removal will have negligible impact: Experts
This story is from October 4, The litigation claimed that structure of BRTS corridor which is in the middle of roads on the left and right is inviting accidents at the intersection points. The litigation was filed by Heera Nagar Vikas Samiti in which the petitioner prayed for the removal of the corridor, ban on the commercial activities in the colony and road and earmarking of vending and no-vending zones. The main prayer of the petitioner is that the residents are affected by the BRTS corridor passing through Ajmer Road to feet bypass. Also due to no identification of vending and non-vending zones and rampant commercial activities there is a heavy chaos on the road where vehicles are seen parked everywhere.
