Bhadrachalam: Written by ardent devotees of Lord Sitarama, Rama Koti books were on Monday evening immersed in the Godavari in Bhadrachalam, amid traditional chanting of Vedic hymns. The books contain special sheets with the name of Lord Sri Rama written on them by devotees. Before the immersion, a separate decorated vehicle was arranged by the temple officers and took the books on the vehicle and took out a procession chanting shlokas. After that the immersion programme was conducted on Godavari river bridge.
